Product information
Ilomba (Pycnanthus angolensis) timber supplied by Etablissements Levis, in Yaounde, Cameroon. Ilomba is a pale pinkish-grey hardwood of low density that peels and glues very well, making it a workhorse for plywood, blockboard and interior utility work. It has no natural durability and is very susceptible to blue stain and insect attack, so logs must be processed and treated promptly after felling. Typical uses include plywood and blockboard; rotary veneer; interior joinery; furniture components. Ask the supplier which forms are available (logs, sawn timber or other), along with grade, dimensions, volume and price.
