Eveuss is an exceptionally dense and hard reddish-brown hardwood, among the heaviest in the Cameroonian forest. It is strong and reasonably durable, and is promoted for heavy construction, sleepers, piling and industrial flooring. Sawing and machining are difficult and all fixings must be pre-bored.
