Bosse

Guarea cedrata

  • Primary hardwood
Bossé is a warm pinkish-brown hardwood with a fine texture and a distinctive cedar-like scent. It is stable, moderately durable and works cleanly, making it a well-regarded joinery and cabinet timber. Some logs contain a gummy exudate that can clog abrasives. Widely used for interior fittings, furniture and decorative veneer.
